Can you believe it? We had grand ambitions to raise $60,000 to fund the first production run of the LED Light Cube but, thanks to your support, our Indiegogo campaign has truly exceeded all expectations inching up to a staggering $100,000.
What does this mean to you?
It means the LED Light Cube can enjoy a blessed transition into production knowing the funds are in the bank to help make it the best technology possible. It means our $85,000 stretch goal has been met so first-adopters of the Cube can benefit from ring adapters for connecting the Cube to existing brands of modifiers. It means there is a genuine market of buyers out there for ensuring ongoing development of the Cube through a number of release phases.
With only hours left of our campaign, it also means you have a limited amount of time to secure a first release Cube for yourself (or a kit of 4 or 8, plus accessories) at never-to-be-repeated prices of almost half the RRP. As a first-adopter Cubist, you get to be the first in the world to enjoy the advantages of using the LED Light Cube but without the retail cost.
Make sure you don't miss out because the clock is literally ticking and – by 11.59pm on 11th September – it's all over.
It may be hip to be square, but it's totally awesome to be Cubed!
Since we have reached (in actual fact, we have passed) our $85,000 stretch goal, that means the development of our adapter range is underway.
In the above image, you can see the Bowens adapter ring with the Cube attached via a slide rail with a light stand mount.
Our ring adapter series will let you connect your Cubes to existing brands of light modifiers (such as Elinchrom, Bowens, Broncolor, Profoto, Paul Buff and a range of other companies).
